11/10/2023 0 Comments Kodak rechargeable aa batteries![]() Also, 9800 mAh is a joke - the highest capacity of any real 18650 battery is 3400 mAh.ģ volts will work. I would buy the second bundle, if necessary.ġ8650 batteries are a different size. This bundle has batteries of 3.6V and specifically for Z712 too: Here is one bundle example, specifically for Z712, though the batteries are 3V: ![]() I bought a couple batteries with a charger as a bundle from eBay. There are R-CRV3 battery with a higher than 3V for the Z712. So, if R-CRV3s are 3V, then it doesn't have to have 3.7V? Are all R-CRV3s alike, wrt to connections, shape, rating etc.? Do I need a special charger for them? I also used the same batteries on my C875 in the past. I do remember it could be powered by R-CRV3 batteries. Still I think R-CRV3 should be able to deliver. The IS is probably responsible for more power consumption than a 3V battery could deliver. IMO the camera internally needs 3V, hence the AC adapter Kodak mentions in the manual is 3V. They're the only thing that will last longer than a few minutes. I didn't know that nickel zinc rechargebles will work. Also, there's a guy here selling "Extreme highest capacity 18650 3.7V ***9800mAh*** Rechargeable L" for $12 a pair, but again, I have no idea if they will work. I'm hoping that whatever I use, I can charge is with NiMH charger. Also, I will need a charger, and that's another expense. ![]() I know where I can get the RCRV3 for $5 a pair, but they are rated at 3v and I thought that the camera needs 3.7 volts. KLIC-8000 Chinese batteries are cheap, and only have 60% of the capacity of "real" ones, but work OK with the Z*12 series of cameras. If you have to use NiMH rechargeables, use Eneloops or Eveready 2300 mAh rechargeables. Nickel-zinc rechargeables will also work better than NiMH rechargeables. Does anyone have any suggestions, perhaps li-on rechargeables, or ?Įveready lithium primary batteries will work for a while. It takes fairly decent pictures, so I would like to get a battery, or batteries, that will last longer but the recommended pack Klic8000 (CRV3) pack is very expensive, if it can even be found. ![]() I bought this camera for next to nothing, but found that my AA rechargeables die after only a few shots. ![]()
